How It Works

  1. Customer browses your store — installment calculators show monthly payment options on product pages
  2. Customer selects “Pay with Iute Credit” — directly from the product page
  3. Loan application opens — customer fills in a quick credit application in a modal window
  4. Instant approval — Iute Credit evaluates the application in real time
  5. Customer signs — if approved, the customer signs the loan agreement digitally
  6. Merchant gets paid — Iute Credit pays the merchant, the customer pays Iute Credit in monthly installments
  7. Merchant ships the order — once payment is confirmed, the order is ready to fulfill

Features

Installment Calculator

A widget displayed on product pages, category pages, and cart that shows customers the estimated monthly payment. Example: “From 250 lei/month” — helps customers understand affordability before checkout.

Application Modal

When the customer selects Iute Credit on the product page or cart, a modal opens with the loan application form pre-filled with order details (items, amounts). The customer completes the application without leaving your store.

Real-time Approval

Iute Credit evaluates applications instantly. The customer gets an immediate decision — approved, pending review, or declined. No waiting days for a credit decision.

Order Status Sync

The plugin automatically syncs order statuses between Shopify and Iute Credit:

Webhook Notifications

Your store receives automatic notifications when the loan status changes:

  • Confirmation — loan approved and signed, order ready to ship
  • Cancellation — application rejected or cancelled, with reason

Integration Flow

For Merchants

  1. Register as Iute Credit partner at iute.md — request ecommerce integration credentials
  2. Install the plugin from the Shopify App Store (when available)
  3. Enter your API keys — Public API Key (for frontend widgets) and Admin API Key (for backend order management)
  4. Configure calculators — choose where to show installment widgets (product pages, cart, etc.)
  5. Set up callbacks — the plugin automatically configures webhook URLs for order confirmations and cancellations
  6. Test in sandbox — verify the full flow before going live

For Customers

  1. Shop normally on your store
  2. See monthly installment options on product pages
  3. Select “Pay with Iute Credit” at product page
  4. Fill in a quick credit application
  5. Get instant approval
  6. Sign digitally and done — order is placed
